Finding a radio sonde

I have for a while been interested in finding radiosondes.
Other radio amateurs like OZ5N has found 30 and OZ2OE has found 14 of these sondes.
The weather sondes interested to us here in Jylland, Denmark are launched at Karup airport every workday at 8:30.

My 8. find

This was a easy find, only 60 m from a road in a field with low crop.
My 7. find
2024-08-22. Sonde no: V3731412
This one was launched from Germany near Schleswig.
I travelled with OZ8VO and OZ2LRX, we did not find it, because the owner had found it. We had a nice chat with them.
The sonde had a sticker on it and a parachute.
The sonde stayed at the finder.
My 6. find
2024-06-18. Sonde no: V5154221
This one was easy. In a open field with some water near Sønderbæk.
My 5. find
2024-04-16. Sonde no: V4251293
This was special. It landed on Dansands area.
I contacted them, and they had found it and kindly gave it to me.
My 4. find
2024-04-04. Sonde no: V4251228
This one OZ8VO, Harry, and I hunted together.
We found in a tree only seconds after it landed.
The balloon was not found.
My third find
2024-03-15. Sonde no: V4250709
This was an easy one. I had Asger with me again.
The sonde was on a field. I thought it had been found because it landed the day before, but we gave it a try and where lucky.
My second find
2024-02-29. Sonde no: V4250746
The sonde landed quit close to my home, but it was quiet a long travel through Randers.
It was raining and cold. The sonde is to the right in the sives.
I fell in the water in the sives and got very wet, but it was worse it :-).

My first find
2023-12-16. Sonde no: V4251313
On 2023-12-11 a sonde landed near Aarhus near where my daughter lives.
On 2023-12-16 the status of the sondes was still UNKNOWN, so I decided to give it a try.
With the help of my grandson Asger (10 years) we went to the GPS coordinates given by the sonde.
AND ASGER FOUND IT !!!!
The “travel” of the sonde

The sonde was actually found under the tree. It was easy because the sonde is tracked after it landed by the near by tracking station of OZ1SKY and so the exact GPS location coordinates are known.
